Happy Holidays by Monica Mallon

I'm going out of town tomorrow for the holidays, but I just wanted to wish you all the best during this holiday season. Your support over the last few months has been the greatest gift I could ever ask for. I will be back on the 26th so let me know if you have any questions or topics for me.

Week 1 by Monica Mallon

I launched my campaign a week ago, and what we have been able to accomplish is incredible. Sal Pizzaro wrote about my campaign in the San Jose Mercury News. I've been interviewed by Chris Nguyen from ABC 7 News, John Ramos from CBS SF, and Ann Rubin from KTVU. And my campaign has been discussed on various radio stations. I also found out today that my KTVU story was on Fox 29 Philadelphia. People are starting to realize that politics should be about representing people and that social media can be used to engage young voters. I've seen friends who previously found politics to be boring, engage in political discussions. So many of my lifelong dreams come true this week, and I feel like my campaign is making a difference.

I want to thank everyone who has shared my story and helped to spread the word about my campaign. None of this would be possible without you.

I'm very proud of what this campaign has been able to do this week, and I can't wait to see what happens next week.

An amazing day by Monica Mallon

Today has been absolutely amazing. Three days ago I was just a regular kid getting ready for my senior year of high school. It's hard to believe that I was written about in the San Jose Mercury News and interviewed on ABC7 News. Today felt like a dream but it was real. I want to thank all of my supporters for raising awareness for my campaign. I also want to thank my family, friends, teachers, and anyone else who has inspired me. I hope that other young people will see what I have done and know that they too can make a difference.
